How Was Your 2024? Are You Ready to Thrive in 2025?

We've had quite a busy year setting new health and fitness goals—and achieving them through hard work and determination! This year was filled with challenges, victories, and a deep commitment to overall wellness.

I ran the Falmouth Road Race in August and a half marathon in New York in November with my son, Billy, and his girlfriend, Meghan. The journey wasn’t easy—after being unable to run for a year due to Lyme disease, I was determined to get back on track. Training for the Falmouth Road Race began just six weeks prior, and I stayed diligent with my nutrition and workouts to ensure I was ready. New York half marathon was in November so training continued but wasn’t consistent. I never thought I could be ready but I wasn’t going to miss it. We encouraged each other along the route, laughed, pushed each other and finished together. Believe it or not I placed 2nd in my age group!!! At 68 years young, that’s not too shabby. It took more than training it took proper nutrition and fuel.

Jon has been running ultra marathons for three years now, and in 2024, he achieved an incredible milestone—completing a 100-mile ultramarathon through the woods, up a mountain, and back down. Yes, he ended up with blisters, and his body was pushed to the max, but his unwavering focus and determination helped him cross the finish line. His journey proves that planning, commitment, and a strong mindset are key to success.
